The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently announced that individuals with B-1 or B-2 visitor visas, which allow for temporary business or tourism visits to the United States, can now apply for jobs and attend interviews during their stay. This new policy will provide an opportunity for qualified candidates from Africa, who often travel to the United States on visitor visas, to apply for jobs without having to return home to complete the visa application process.
